Why this exists:entry rules changed everywhere in 2026 — new tourist taxes, proposed fees, free arrival cards, visa windows. Fee blog posts bury the answer. Here the stack is per-trip, the status of every fee is stated (verified / proposed / headline), and anything unverified for a destination is marked, never invented.

Pay official portals only
- • Thailand TDAC is free. The official portal carries "No Fees Required" (tdac.immigration.go.th, verified 11 September 2026) — never pay a third-party "arrival card" site.
- • The Bali levy is IDR 150,000 on the official Love Bali portal (lovebali.baliprov.go.id, verified 11 September 2026) — the levy itself has no booking fee.
- • Schengen entry is zero-fee for 90/180 visa-free stays — Romania included since 1 January 2025 (EC, 3 January 2025). EES biometrics are live; ETIAS is not yet in operation — the €20 fee is set but applications are not collected and no launch date is announced (EC, 11 September 2026). Ignore anyone selling it.
- • India's 30-day e-Tourist visa flows only through the official portal (indianvisaonline.gov.in) — the fee is flow-gated there, so re-verify at checkout before paying a reseller.
